    Ingredients

    • 2 CUPS FIRMLY PACKED BROWN SUGAR
    • 3/4 CUP BUTTER FLAVORED CRISCO,1-16 OZ CAN
    • SOLID PACKED PUMPKIN, 4 EGGS, 1/4 CUP WATER
    • 2 CUPS ALL PURPOSE FLOUR,1 1/3 CUPS OATS(OLD
    • FASHIONED) UNCOOKED 1/2 CUP CHOPPED NUTS,
    • OR RAISINS, 4TSP BAKING POWDER, 1TBSP PUMPKIN
    • PIE SPICE, 1 1/2 TSP BAKING SODA, 3/4 TSP SALT
    • OPTIONAL
    • GLAZE
    • 1 CUP POWDERED SUGAR(10-X SUGAR) 4TBSP ORANGE
    • JUICE 3/4 GRATED ORANGE PEEL

    Directions

    1. HEAT OVEN TO 350* GREASE 10 INCH BUNDT PAN OR TUBE PAN
    2. BEAT SUGAR AND CRISCO UNTIL FLUFFY, MIX IN THE PUMPKIN, EGGS AND WATER, COMBINE THE
    3. REMAINING CAKE INGREDIENT MIX WELL GRADUALLY ADD TO PUMPKIN MIXTURE MIXING WELL SPREAD INTO PAN BAKE 60 TO 7O MINUTES . COOL 10 MINUTES REMOVE FROM THE
    4. PAN , AND COOL COMPLETELY ON A WIRE RACK AND DRIZZLE ICING OVER WHEN CAKE HAS COOLED COMPLETELY.
