    crab brunch casserole is a delicious meal entree in one that simplifies, serving a midday brunch or patio supper and requires no last minute preparation, the dish is easily assembled by layering toasted bread cubes, crabs,and grated cheddar cheese in a casserole dish, over the top is poured a rich egg and milk mixture seasoned with prepared mustard and onion salt.

    Ingredients

    • 6 to 8 oz crab meat canned or frozen
    • 3 cups toasted bread cubes
    • 1 1/2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
    • 6 eggs
    • 3 cups milk
    • 1tsp prepared mustard
    • 1/4 tsp onion salt
    • 1/4 tsp salt
    • 1/8 tsp pepper
    • 5 slices cooked bacon crumbled

    Directions

    1. drain crabs, and slice it in to pieces
    2. spread bread cubes in bottom of buttered 9" square or round casserole dish
    3. sprinkle crab and cheese over bread.
    4. beat eggs
    5. add milk and seasoning and pour over crab
    6. bake in a 325* oven over 45 minutes to 1 hour or until set
    7. sprinkle with crumbled bacon last 10 minutes of baking
