Flax Bread
Prep: 1,1/2 hours Cook: 3/4 hours Servings: 2by Lena3 recipes>A very good home made, healthy bread! The flax is enough so you don't need to add any oil! My family's favorite!!! and SO easy to make! Ingredients
- 1 Tbsp. Honey
- 1 Tbsp. instant Yeast
- 2 1/2 cups warm water
- 1 tsp. salt
- 3/4 cup ground flax
- 2 eggs
- 3 cups whole wheat flour
- 3 cups white flour
Directions
- mix first 4 ingredients
- add flax and yeast, mix
- add flour, may use all whole wheat!
- add more flour if needed!
- Knead, oiling hands with olive oil if needed!
- shape into 2 loaves,
- place in loaf pan, let rise 1 hour
- bake at 350 for 3/4 hour!
