Ingredients

  • 1 c. dry figs
  • 1 tsp instant chopped onion
  • 1 can crushed pineapple (8 oz) undrained
  • 1/2 tsp grnd ginger
  • 1/8 tsp garlic pwdr
  • 1/8 tsp grnd cinnamon
  • 1 pch cayenne
  • 1 pch grnd cloves
  • 1/3 c. cider vinegar
  • 1/4 c. brown sugar

Directions

  1. Cut stems from figs and finely chop. In pan, combine figs and remaining ingredients. Simmer, uncovered stirring occasionally for 30 min, or possibly till thick. Chill overnight before serving to blend flavors makes 1 1/2 c.
