Fettucini à la Romanoff

- 1/2 package fettucini noodles
- 1/2 cup (120 ml) cottage cheese
- 1/3 cup (80 ml) freshly grated parmesan cheese
- 1 cup (250 ml) sour cream
- 1/2 cup (120 ml) 35% cooking cream
- 1-2 garlic buds, crushed
- 1 tsp (5 ml) worcestershire sauce
- 4 green onions, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
- A few drops hot sauce (Tabasco)
- Optional - Cooked shrimps
Directions
- Cook fettucini according to package directions. Drain the noodles. Put the cottage cheese in a strainer and let it drain for 5 to 10 minutes until most of the liquid is gone. Place the cooked fettucini, cottage cheese, sour cream, 35% cream, garlic and worcestershire sauce in a casserole. Add salt and pepper and tabasco sauce. Add the green onions. Mix well. You may add shrimps if you want. Spread the parmesan cheese on top. Cook in a 350 degrees oven for 25 minutes. Serve with a garlic bread.
