  • Fettuccine With Shrimp And Cream Sauce

    Ingredients

    • 1 lb Fettuccine Noodles
    • 1/2 c. Oil
    • 1/4 c. Butter
    • 24 x Cloves fresh garlic, minced
    • 1 lb Fresh jumbo shrimp, Butterflied
    • 1 c. Minced fresh parsley
    • 2 c. Minced fresh mushrooms
    • 1 c. Minced green onions
    • 1 Tbsp. Red pepper
    • 2 Tbsp. Flour
    • 1/2 c. Dry white wine
    • 1 pt Heavy cream
    • 1 sm Wedge (5 ounce.) Parmesan Cheese, grated Salt to taste

    Directions

    1. Cook noodles according to package directions in boiling water with oil.
    2. While noodles are cooking, heat butter in large skillet over medium-high heat. Add in minced garlic and shrimp; cook till shrimp turn pink, but don't allow garlic to turn brown. Add in parsley, mushrooms, onions and red pepper; saute/fry for 1 minute. Add in flour, mix thoroughly and add in wine.
    3. Simmer for about 30 seconds, then add in cream and heat through. Drain noodles and add in to sauce with half the grated cheese. Mix in gently till noodles are well coated and cheese is melted. Salt lightly. If sauce is too thin, continue heating till sauce reduces to a creamy consistency. If sauce is too thick, add in cream. Garnish with minced parsley and additional grated cheese and serve immediately.
