Ingredients

  • 8 Tbsp. Unsalted butter
  • 1 1/2 c. Sugar
  • 3 lrg Large eggs
  • 2 c. Flour
  • 2 tsp Bourbon
  • 1 c. Minced walnuts
  • 8 ounce Bittersweet chocolate minced
  • 1 x Unbaked pie crust - (9-inch)
  • 3 c. Bourbon Cream see * Note

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
  2. In a bowl cream together the butter, sugar and Large eggs. Stir in the flour and bourbon, and mix in the walnuts and chocolate. Pour into the pie shell. Bake till golden, for about 1 hour. Remove from the oven and allow to cold. Serve each piece of the pie with the Bourbon Cream.
  3. This recipe yields 8 servings.
