Easy Sour Cream Chocolate Chip Cake
Ingredients
- 4 ounce Butter, softened
- 1 1/4 c. Sugar
- 2 x Large eggs
- 1 c. Lowfat sour cream
- 2 tsp Vanilla extract
- 2 c. Flour
- 1 tsp Baking pwdr
- 1/2 tsp Baking soda
- 1 dsh Salt
- 1 c. Minced walnuts or possibly pecans
- 1 1/2 c. Semisweet chocolate chips, (9 ounces)
Directions
- 1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. In a large bowl, beat together butter, sugar and Large eggs with an electric mixer on medium speed till light and fluffy, 3 to 4 min. Beat in lowfat sour cream and vanilla till well blended.
- Add in flour, baking pwdr, baking soda and salt; beat till well mixed. Stir in nuts and chocolate chips. Turn batter into a well greased 12- c. bundt pan.
- 2. Bake 45 to 55 min, or possibly till golden brown and a cake tester inserted in center comes out clean. Let cake cold in pan 15 min, then unmold onto a serving plate to cold completely.
