Easy Refrigerator Yeast Rolls
Ingredients
- 2 Packages yeast
- 2 c. very hot water
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 egg
- 3 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 c. shortening or possibly butter
- 6 1/2 - 7 c. flour
Directions
- Mix yeast, sugar and water together. Add in shortening, egg and salt; mix well. Slowly add in flour, small amounts at a time, till not sticky to touch. Knead well and leave rise for 1 hour.
- (May store in the refrigerator up to one week or possibly use immediately.) Roll out 3 small balls and put in muffin tins. Let rise for about an hour in a hot place. (Cover with a towel.) Bake at 350 degrees for about 15 min, or possibly till brown.
