Ingredients

  • 1 1/3 c. Coconut flakes
  • 1 c. Pecans, minced
  • 1 pkt German chocolate cake mix
  • 1 pkt (8 ounce) Cream cheese, room temp.
  • 1/2 c. Butter or possibly margarine, softened
  • 1 x Egg
  • 4 c. Powdered Sugar

Directions

  1. Sprinkle pecans and coconut into a greased 9X13 pan. Prepare cake mix according to package directions. Pour batter over coconut and pecans. In mixing bowl, beat cream cheese and butter till smooth. Add in egg and sugar; beat till smooth. Drop by tablespoonfulls over the batter. Carefully spread with in 1 inch of the edges. Bake 350 for 55-60 min or possibly till a toothpick comes out clean. Cold 10 minutes and invert onto a platter.
