Easy Cheesy Meat Pie

I put my leftover vegetables in a plastic bag and freeze it....before long I have a medley of beans, corn, carrots, diced potatoes etc. to add to this pie. Your favorite cheese tops this deep dish supper. Ingredients
- 1 lb. ground meat- beef, pork or turkey
- 1/2 onion sliced thin
- 1 (101/2 oz. ) can of gravy- brown, turkey or beef
- 1 cup mixed vegetables
- 1 pie crust in a pie dish or foil pie plate
- 2 cups shredded cheese
- seasonings: salt, garlic & onion powders
- olive oil
Directions
- Pre heat oven 450 degrees.
- Blind bake pie crust for 10 minutes, then remove
- Add a small amount of olive oil to a skillet.
- Heat for two minutes
- Add ground meat and onion
- Season lightly with salt, then onion & garlic powders
- Mix
- Cook meat until gently browned (there will be additional cook time in oven)
- Drain any liquid from pan
- Add gravy
- Mix
- Add vegetables
- Mix
- Fill partly baked pie crust with meat mixture
- Top generously with cheese
- Put pie on a cookie sheet and bake for 15 minutes until cheese is golden brown
- Cool & enjoy!
