    Ingredients

    • 8 piece chicken
    • 1 tsp Ginger and garlic paste
    • 3 tsp Lowfat yoghurt
    • 2 tsp Chilli pwdr
    • 1 tsp Saffron
    • 2 tsp Grnd flour
    • 2 tsp Almond paste
    • 2 tsp Ghee or possibly white butter
    • 2 tsp Brown onion paste
    • 1 tsp Garam masala
    • 1 tsp Mace and cardamom pwdr
    • 1 tsp White pepper
    • 1 tsp Saffron
    • 100 gm Dough

    Directions

    1. Place the chicken in a bowl, add in the ginger and garlic paste, lowfat yoghurt, chilli pwdr and saffron and leave to marinate for 4-5 hrs.
    2. Pour the remaining ingredients in a mixing bowl and mix into a paste.
    3. Place the chicken in a pot with some oil and cook for 10 min. Stir in the paste with the chicken. Roll the dough in to a long sausage and place around the top of the pot.
    4. Place a metal dish on top of the pastry, place some warm coal on top of dish and cook for a further 5-10 min.
    5. Remove the coals and dish and serve with a minced coriander, creme and almonds garnish.
