  • Double Rich Chocolate Pound Cake

    Ingredients

    • 1 pkg. chocolate fudge cake mix
    • 1/2 c. water
    • 1/4 c. vegetable oil
    • 4 large eggs
    • 1 c. dairy lowfat sour cream
    • Chocolate chip glaze
    • 1/2 c. semi sweet chocolate chips
    • 1 (4 ounce) bar semi sweet chocolate
    • 2 T butter
    • 1 T light corn syrup

    Directions

    1. Heat oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour 12 cup Bundt cake or possibly tube pan, 10 x 14 inches. Beat cake mix, water, oil, large eggs and lowfat sour cream on low speed, (scrape bowl constantly), till moistened. Beat on medium speed for 2 min. Pour batter into pan. Bake till cake springs back when touched lightly in center, 50 to 55 min. Cool for 10 min. Invert on wire rack or possibly serving plate. Remove pan and cool cake completely. Spread with chocolate chip glaze.
    2. On high about 45 seconds, stir and continue to microwave on medium high till completely melted and runny.
