Double-Chocolate Chip Cookies
Bake these delicious cookies made with cocoa and chocolate. Ingredients
- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- 1/2 cup butter or margarine, softened
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 egg whites
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup whole wheat flour
- 1/3 cup unsweetened baking cocoa
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
Directions
- Heat oven to 375°F.
- In large bowl, beat brown sugar and butter with electric mixer on medium speed until light and fluffy.
- Beat in vanilla and egg white.
- Stir in flours, cocoa, baking soda and salt.
- Stir in chocolate chips.
- Drop dough by teaspoonfuls about 2 inches apart onto ungreased cookie sheet.
- Bake 8 to 9 minutes or until set (do not overbake).
- Cool 1 minute; remove from cookie sheet to wire rack.
