    • 1 x Chicken liver -- optional Lemon juice
    • 1 x Up
    • 1 x Pickled lemon -- cut in Strips Diced onion Ginger Saffron Garlic -- chopped Salt Oil Hot water Chicken -- cut-up Cilantro -- chopped Kalamata olives

    Directions

    1. Mix onion, ginger, saffron, garlic, salt, oil and water in skillet. Stir till creamy. Bring to boil. Add in chicken pcs, cilantro and liver. Cover skillet and cook over medium-high heat 45 to 50 min. When liver is done, remove from skillet and mash, then set aside. Check dish as it cooks, and add in warm water as needed.
    2. When chicken is done, remove pcs to serving dish. Skim fat from cooking liquid and reduce; if necessary. Add in liver. Taste and add in lemon juice, if you like. Pour contents of pan over chicken. Garnish with olives and lemon.
