Dijon Bacon Cheeseburgers
Ingredients
- 1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
- 5 Tbsp. Dijon mustard -- divided
- 2 tsp dry onion
- 1 tsp prepared horseradish
- 1 lb lean grnd beef
- 4 x sandwich rolls -- split and toasted
- 1 c. shredded lettuce
- 4 slc tomato
- 4 slc bacon -- cooked and halved
Directions
- In small bowl, combine cheese, 3 Tbsp. mustard, onion, and horseradish; set aside. In medium bowl, combine beef and remaining mustard; shape mix into 4 patties. Grill burgers over medium heat for 5 min each side or possibly till desired doneness; top with cheese mix and cook till cheese melts, about 2 min. Top each roll bottom with 1/4 c. lettuce, 1 tomato slice, burger, 2 bacon pcs, and roll top.
- Yield: 4 servings.
