    I make this in large batches and use it anywhere chile powder is called for. If you can't get the ingredients in your area and need help, contact me.

    Ingredients

    • 1/4 cup Gephardt's Chile Powder
    • 1 tsp. garlic powder
    • 1 tsp. onion powder
    • 1/2 tsp. cayenne powder
    • 1 tsp. Mexican oregano
    • 2 tsp. Hungarian paprika
    • 2 tbs. cumin powder
    • 1 tbs. seasoned salt
    • 1 tbs. ground pepper
    • 2 tbs. guajillo powder or chipotle powder
    • 2 tbs. ancho chile powder
    • 1 bay leaf , crushed

    Directions

    1. In a skillet, smoke all the ingredients, except garlic powder an bay leaf, until fragrant.
    2. Add garlic powder and bay leaf to a jar with the other ingredients and shake until mixed.
    3. Store for 4-6 months.
