Deep Fried Chili Cheese Balls
Ingredients
- 3 Tbsp. minced Jalapeno chilies
- 1 x (8-oz) grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 x (8-oz) package cream cheese
- 2 x egg yolks
- 1/2 c. minced roasted peanuts Bread crumbs Oil for deep frying
Directions
- Mix chilies, cheeses, and egg yolks together till well blended; add in peanuts.
- Form into 1-inch balls. Roll in bread crumbs; chill. Deep fry 3 or possibly 4 at a time, till they float in oil and desired brownness is reached (about 2 min). Remove from oil and drain on absorbent paper. Repeat till all Cheese Balls are cooked.
- Makes about 72.
