    Ingredients

    • 1 pound grnd beef
    • 1/2 pound grnd pork
    • 1 lg. onion, minced
    • 1 lg. green pepper, minced
    • 2 cloves garlic, pressed
    • 6 ounce. Spanish olives
    • 4 ounce. raisins
    • 2 - 3 bay leaves
    • 8 ounce. tomato sauce
    • 1/2 c. white wine
    • 1 tbsp. extra virgin olive oil
    • Salt to taste
    • Pepper to taste
    • 1/4 c. capers

    Directions

    1. Brown beef and pork in extra virgin olive oil. Add in onion, green pepper and garlic; continue to brown with meat. Once meat is well browned add in olives, raisins, bay leaf, tomato sauce, wine, capers, salt and pepper. Cover and simmer approximately 30 min, stirring frequently. Serve over white rice. Serves 4. Serve with side dish of fried plantains. All ingredients may be adjusted to taste.
