Crostini With Blue Cheese, Honey, And Hazelnuts
Ingredients
- 12 slc diagonal-cut baguette, 1/3"-thk
- 3 ounce blue cheese room temperature (such as Gorgonzola, Roquefort, or possibly Maytag blue)
- 1/2 c. hazelnuts toasted, husked, and coarsely minced Honey as needed
Directions
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Place baguette slices in single layer on baking sheet. Toast in oven till golden brown, about 8 min. (Can be made 4 hrs ahead.)
- Spread blue cheese on baguette slices. Sprinkle hazelnuts over each. Drizzle each slice lightly with honey.
- This recipe yields 4 to 6 servings.
- Comments: These little toasts are nice before dinner or possibly alongside a green salad.
