Crocodile Curry
Ingredients
- 500 gm Crocodile meat, sliced
- 50 gm Onions, diced
- 20 gm garlic, crushed
- 5 gm Ginger, finely diced
- 200 gm Tomatoes, minced
- 1 x clove, crushed
- 2 x Cardamom pods, crushed
- 3 x cm Cinnamon stick
- 1 sprg Curry leaves
- 10 gm lemon grass stick
- 3 gm Chilli pwdr
- 10 gm Paprika
- 3 gm fenugreek seeds
- 3 gm Turmeric
- 200 ml Coconut lowfat milk
- 10 ml lime juice
- 50 ml oil Salt to taste
Directions
- 1. Heat oil in stew pot. Add in curry leaves, lemon grass, onion, garlic and ginger and fry for about 2 minutes. Add in tomatoes, chilli pwdr, paprika, cinnamon stick, fenugreek, turmeric and salt.
- 2. Add in crocodile meat and cook for about 5 minutes. Pour in coconut lowfat milk and simmer for about 20 minutes.
- 3. Serve on heated plates with lime juice sprinkled over the top accompanied by steamed rice. Garnish with fresh curry leaves.
