  • Crocodile Curry

    Ingredients

    • 500 gm Crocodile meat, sliced
    • 50 gm Onions, diced
    • 20 gm garlic, crushed
    • 5 gm Ginger, finely diced
    • 200 gm Tomatoes, minced
    • 1 x clove, crushed
    • 2 x Cardamom pods, crushed
    • 3 x cm Cinnamon stick
    • 1 sprg Curry leaves
    • 10 gm lemon grass stick
    • 3 gm Chilli pwdr
    • 10 gm Paprika
    • 3 gm fenugreek seeds
    • 3 gm Turmeric
    • 200 ml Coconut lowfat milk
    • 10 ml lime juice
    • 50 ml oil Salt to taste

    Directions

    1. 1. Heat oil in stew pot. Add in curry leaves, lemon grass, onion, garlic and ginger and fry for about 2 minutes. Add in tomatoes, chilli pwdr, paprika, cinnamon stick, fenugreek, turmeric and salt.
    2. 2. Add in crocodile meat and cook for about 5 minutes. Pour in coconut lowfat milk and simmer for about 20 minutes.
    3. 3. Serve on heated plates with lime juice sprinkled over the top accompanied by steamed rice. Garnish with fresh curry leaves.
