  • Crockpot Venison And Beans

    Ingredients

    • 2 lb Venison cut into cubes, all fat and membrane removed
    • 3 slc Bacon minced
    • 1 lb White northern beans
    • 2 quart Water
    • 1 can Beef broth
    • 1 med Onion minced
    • 1 c. Minced celery
    • 1/2 c. Carrots grated
    • 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
    • 1/8 tsp Garlic pwdr Salt to taste Freshly-grnd black pepper to taste

    Directions

    1. Soak beans overnight in water and drain. Place soaked beans in crockpot with water, beef broth, onion, celery, carrots, Worcestershire, garlic pwdr, salt and pepper.
    2. Brown venison and bacon in skillet and add in to crockpot. Cook on high for four hrs, then turn back to low for two hrs or possibly till ready to serve. Fried potatoes and onions make a good side dish along with cornbread.
