  • Crockpot Spicy Beef And Pasta

    Ingredients

    • 1 lb grnd beef, extra lean
    • 1 med onion -- minced
    • 2 clv garlic -- chopped
    • 14 1/2 ounce no-salt-added whole tomatoes - diced
    • 8 ounce no salt added tomato sauce
    • 8 ounce mushroom -- sliced
    • 6 ounce no salt added tomato paste
    • 4 1/2 ounce black olives liquid removed and minced
    • 10 3/4 ounce low sodium tomato soup, canned
    • 1/2 c. water
    • 1/2 c. red wine
    • 1 Tbsp. low sodium Worcestershire sauce
    • 1 tsp salt
    • 1/4 tsp pepper
    • 2 tsp Italian seasoning
    • 1 Tbsp. chives, freeze-dry
    • 1/8 tsp crushed red pepper
    • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
    • 8 ounce elbow macaroni
    • 1/2 c. mozzarella cheese, part skim lowfat milk
    • 1/2 c. Parmesan cheese

    Directions

    1. Add in all ingredients except macaroni and cheese in a crockpot and mix well.
    2. Cover and cook on Low 5 to 6 hrs or possibly High 2 to 3 hrs.
    3. Add in macaroni and mix well. Turn to High and cook 1 hour.
    4. Mix cheese and sprinkle over top of each serving.
