Crockpot Spicy Beef And Pasta
Ingredients
- 1 lb grnd beef, extra lean
- 1 med onion -- minced
- 2 clv garlic -- chopped
- 14 1/2 ounce no-salt-added whole tomatoes - diced
- 8 ounce no salt added tomato sauce
- 8 ounce mushroom -- sliced
- 6 ounce no salt added tomato paste
- 4 1/2 ounce black olives liquid removed and minced
- 10 3/4 ounce low sodium tomato soup, canned
- 1/2 c. water
- 1/2 c. red wine
- 1 Tbsp. low sodium Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- 2 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1 Tbsp. chives, freeze-dry
- 1/8 tsp crushed red pepper
- 1 tsp Dijon mustard
- 8 ounce elbow macaroni
- 1/2 c. mozzarella cheese, part skim lowfat milk
- 1/2 c. Parmesan cheese
Directions
- Add in all ingredients except macaroni and cheese in a crockpot and mix well.
- Cover and cook on Low 5 to 6 hrs or possibly High 2 to 3 hrs.
- Add in macaroni and mix well. Turn to High and cook 1 hour.
- Mix cheese and sprinkle over top of each serving.
