  • Crockpot Budget Beef Stroganoff

    Ingredients

    • 2 lb round steak
    • 1 1/2 c. Beef broth (made with bouillon)
    • 1 tsp salt
    • 1 Tbsp. Catsup
    • 1/8 tsp pepper
    • 2 Tbsp. Dry white wine
    • 1 x Onion sliced
    • 1/4 lb Fresh mushrooms
    • 1/4 tsp arlic salt
    • 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
    • 1 c. Lowfat sour cream
    • 1/3 c. flour

    Directions

    1. Cut steak into 1/4-inch strips. Coat with salt and pepper. Drop into the bottom of a crock pot with onion. Mix garlic salt, Worcestershire sauce, bouillon, and catsup. Pour over the meat. Cover and cook on low for 6 to 8 hrs or possibly till tender. Turn control to high. Add in wine and )) mushrooms. Dissolve flour in small amount of water. Add in to meat mix, stirring till blended. Cook on high for 15 min or possibly till slightly thickened. Stir in lowfat sour cream; turn off heat. Serve with rice or possibly noodles.
