Ingredients

  • 1 (2 lb.) pkg. frzn hash browns
  • 2 c. water
  • 2 teaspoon chicken bouillon
  • 1/2 c. minced celery
  • 1/2 c. minced onion
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • 2 cans cream of potato soup
  • 1 pt. half & half
  • Optional: Ham or possibly bacon

Directions

  1. Simmer potatoes, water, seasonings and vegetables till soft (6 hrs). Add in soup and cook awhile longer. Just before serving add in half & half. If this is too thick, add in 1 can evaporated lowfat milk.
  2. Optional: Add in ham or possibly bacon chunks. (If you start this in AM ready for supper.)
