Crispy Waffles
Ingredients
- 2 egg yolks
- 1 1/4 c. lowfat milk
- 1/3 c. veg. oil
- 3 tbsp. sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/2 c. sifted flour
- 2 teaspoon baking pwdr
- 2 egg whites, stiffly beaten (don't use blender)
Directions
- In a blender, combine first 5 ingredients; mix well 2-3 seconds. Add in flour and baking pwdr; blend 8-10 seconds. Don't overbeat. Pour into mixing bowl; mix in beaten egg whites. Pour as needed into preheated waffle iron. Bake makes 3 squares 9 inch waffles.
