  • Crisco Ultimate Chocolate Chip Cookie

    Ingredients

    • 3/4 c. Butter flavor Crisco solid Shortening
    • 1 1/4 c. Brown sugar, firmly packed
    • 2 Tbsp. Lowfat milk
    • 1 Tbsp. Vanilla
    • 1 x Egg
    • 1 3/4 c. All-purpose flour
    • 1 tsp Salt
    • 3/4 tsp Baking soda
    • 1 c. Semisweet chocolate
    • 1 c. Pecan pcs, optional

    Directions

    1. Heat oven to 375 degrees. Cream: Butter Flavor Crisco, brown sugar, lowfat milk and vanilla in large bowl. Blend till creamy. Blend in egg.
    2. Combine flour, salt and baking soda. Add in to creamed mix, gradually. Stir in chocolate chips and nuts. Drop rounded measuring tablespoonfuls of dough 3" apart on ungreased baking sheet. Bake at 375 degreess 8 to 10 min for chewy cookies (will appear light and moist - Don't OVERBAKE), 11 to 13 min for crisp cookies. Cold on baking sheet 2 min. Remove to cooling rack.
    3. Makes 3 dozen 3"cookies.
