Creamy Pork Sausage Pasta

A delicious, easy to make pasta meal for the whole family. My family loves this, and ask for it regularly.One of the best dinner meals to put on your table.

Ingredients

  • 500 g pork sausages,chopped into thick rounds
  • 250 g penne
  • 30 g butter
  • 1 tsp garlic crushed
  • 1/4 cup parmesan cheese
  • 1 tbs cornflour
  • 2 tbs milk
  • 300 mls cream
  • 1 tsp pepper to taste
  • 4 tsp parsley to taste
  • 4 tsp chives chopped to taste

Directions

  1. Boil pasta in lots of salted water, until just tender.
  2. While pasta is cooking, melt butter in large saucepan and add garlic and chives.
  3. Add sausage pieces and stir to combine. Put lid on pan for 4 minutes.
  4. Remove lid and stir sausage until just cooked.
  5. Add cream and the cornflour mixed with enough milk to make a thick paste.
  6. Stir continuously until sauce thickens. If too thick add a little milk.
  7. Add parmesan cheese and seasoned pepper, stir.
  8. When cooked, stir in parsley.
  9. Drain pasta, add to sausage mix and stir until evenly coated, serve.
