Cream Of Turkey Soup From Huber's
Ingredients
- 1 x Carrot, diced
- 2 x Onions, diced
- 1 stalk celery, diced
- 6 Tbsp. Butter
- 2 Tbsp. Flour
- 3 c. Turkey broth
- 1 x Bay leaf
- 1 c. Lowfat milk, heated
- 1/2 c. Turkey meat, diced Salt and pepper to taste
Directions
- 1. Saute/fry diced vegetables in butter in a large saucepan.
- 2. Add in flour and cook 8 to 10 min, being caretul not to brown.
- 3. Add in broth gradually, stirring till slightly thickened and smooth.
- 4. Add in bay leaf, simmer 30 min, then remove bay leaf.
- 5. Add in heated lowfat milk and diced turkey meat. Season with salt and pepper.
- Serve.
