Cream of Hominy and Bacon Soup

- One 15.5 once can Hominy (drain)
- 1-1/4 cup Whole Milk
- 1 teaspoon corn starch
- 1/4 cup Heavy Cream
- dash of nutmeg
- dash of white pepper
- 4 slices crispy Bacon (cut into pieces)
- Garnish with cooked baby carrots, fresh basil chopped
Directions
- In a large soup pot (lidded) on medium heat add hominy, milk and cook 3 minutes add corn starch and stir well, add cream nutmeg, white pepper and cover with the lid and cook on medium/low heat (stir during cooking time) for 15 minutes.
- Ladle into soup bowl, garnish with bacon pieces, baby carrots, basil
- Enjoy!
