Ingredients

  • 1 x frying chicken cut up or possibly 4-6 boneless breasts or possibly pork chops
  • 2 Tbsp. melted butter salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 pkt dry italian salad dressing seasoning mix
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup or possibly cream of chick-mush soup
  • 1 x brick of cream cheese (8 ounce.) cubed
  • 1/2 c. chicken broth
  • 1 lrg onion crushed garlic to taste

Directions

  1. Brush chicken with butter and sprinkle with the dry Italian seasoning mix (I did two layers in my crockpot to make sure which the Italian seasoning got on all the chicken and not just those pcs on top.) Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hrs. About 45 min before done, brown the onion in the butter and then add in the cream cheese, soup, and chicken broth to the saucepan. Add in the crushed garlic and stir all ingredients till smooth. Add in salt and pepper to taste. Pour sauce mix over chicken in crockpot and cook an additional 30-45 min. Remove chicken to platter and stir sauce before putting in gravy boat (sheah, right! we use our 2 C. glass pyrex measuring c. around here...)
