Cranion Chicken

I had few cans of cranberry left over in my cabinet and decided to make this. Now its one of my favorite recipes!

Ingredients

  • 6 chicken thighs or small breasts
  • 1 env. Onion soup\dip mix
  • 1 can whole berry or jellied cranberry sauce
  • 1 cup catalina or french dressing
  • 1 whole onion sliced
  • cooked rice

Directions

  1. place chicken in a 13 x 9 in. Baking dish. Sprinkle soup mix over top and layer sliced onions on top. In a separate bowl mix dressing with cranberry sauce until combined. Pour over chicken. Cover pan with foil and cook in oven at 350 degrees for 40 minutes then remove foil and stir, place back in oven uncovered for 20 mins. More or until it runs proper serving temp. Spoon fat out and discard. Serve over rice with whatever vegetables desired.
