Ingredients

  • 2 c. Flour
  • 1 c. Sugar
  • 1 1/2 tsp Baking pwdr
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Baking soda
  • 3/4 c. Orange juice
  • 1 Tbsp. Orange zest, grated
  • 2 Tbsp. Shortening
  • 1 x Extra large egg
  • 1 1/2 c. Cranberries, coarsely crushed
  • 1/2 c. Nuts, minced

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Mix dry ingredients together. Stir in orange juice, zest, shortening and egg till well blended. Stir in cranberries and nuts. Turn into greased 9x5" loaf. Bake for 55 min.
