cranberry biscuit

i made cranberry biscuit with very simple recipe. all beginner can do it!Actually with the strong taste of butter, it tastes like shortbread~

Ingredients

  • cake flour 180g,egg 40g, milk powder30g, butter 160g, incing sugar 60g

Directions

  1. butter from room temperature mixed with incing sugar, use spoon, not electric mixer, cos u want to keep the biscuit hard, if you make cookie, you will make sure the butter and sugar are well mixed and become fluffy, But for this biscuit, no need
  2. then put in egg, not once time, bit by bit, and make sure mixed well with the previous ingredients.
  3. cake flour and milk powder sifted well, and put in the batter
  4. put in cranberry and mix well again.then arrange the batter onto a preservative film,make it a cuboid with 6 cm width and 4cm height.
  5. and put in the fridge for 1 hr.
  6. after 1 hr, bring it out, back to the room temperature for 3-5 mins, then cut into small piece, with about 0.5-0.7 cm thick.
  7. put in the oven preheated with 160 degree, bake for 15-20mins.
