    This dish was giving to me by a good friend of mine, I suggest making the sauce to dip it in. I'm putting the sauce we used here so you can use it if you like, or use a dipping sauce you already have either way the crab cakes are great!!! Creamy caper dill sauce 3/4 cup mayonnaise 1/2 cup sour cream 1/4 tsp lemon zest 2 tbsp fresh lemon juice 1 tbsp drain capers 2 tsp chopped fresh dill 1/4 dijon mustard 1/4 salt 1/4 pepper Stir together and chill 3 hours

    Ingredients

    • 2 lbs fresh lump crabmeat
    • 1/2 cup minced green onion
    • 1/2 minced red bell pepper
    • 1 tbsp olive oil
    • 1/2 italian bread crumb
    • 1 lg egg lightly beaten
    • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
    • 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
    • 1/2 tsp salt
    • 1/2 tsp pepper
    • Dash worcestershire sauce
    • 2 tbsp butter

    Directions

    1. flake crabmeat being careful not to break lumps.
    2. Saute onion and green pepper in olive oil
    3. Stir together green onion mixture, italian bread crumbs, beaten egg, mayonnaise,lemon juice, salt and pepper, worcestershire.
    4. pack in patties.
    5. Chill for 2 to 8 hours
    6. to fry:
    7. use 2 tbsp butter, fry 3 minutes on each side, or until golden brown
