Corky's Lasagna

This lasagna has no pasta...very different but delicious

Ingredients

  • 3 cans Pillsbury Crescent Rolls
  • 1 lb sausage (Jimmy Dean)
  • 2 lbs hamburger
  • 1 medium onion
  • 1 clove garlic (chopped fine or 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 3-6 oz cans of tomato paste
  • 2 Tbsp parsley flakes
  • 1 tsp basil
  • 1 tsp oregano
  • Cheese Layer:
  • 1 12 oz carton college cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 C parmesan cheese
  • Top:
  • 2 C mozzarella cheese or 10 slices of Mozzarella cheese
  • brush with milk
  • Sprinkle with sesame seeds

Directions

  1. Brown and drain meat, Add tomato paste, parsley flakes, basil and oregano.
  2. Mix in separate container the 3 ingredients for the cheese layer
  3. Use 1 1/2 c. rolls on bottom layer. Place on pan and seal seams together, spread half the meat mixture on. Then ALL the cheese layer, the the rest of the meat mixture. Cover with Mozzarella cheese, the the rest of the rolls. Press together carefully. Brush top with milk and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
  4. Bake 25-30 minutes @ 375 degrees.
