Ingredients

  • 1/2 c. Butter or possibly margarine
  • 1/2 c. Hershey's Cocoa, Or possibly... Hershey's European Style Cocoa
  • 3 2/3 c. Powdered sugar
  • 1/3 c. Lowfat milk
  • 1 tsp Vanilla extract

Directions

  1. In small saucepan over low heat, heat butter. Add in cocoa; stir constantly just till mix begins to boil. Remove from heat; pour into small mixer bowl. Add in powdered sugar alternately with lowfat milk, beating to spreading consistency. Blend in vanilla. Spread frosting while hot. About 2-1/4 c. frosting.
  2. Variation:Peppermint: Add in 1 Tbsp. finely crushed peppermint candy to frosting mix.
