Ingredients

  • 5 lb Baby back pork ribs, cut into 8 pcs of about 6 ribs each
  • 4 c. Clark's Barbecue Sauce*, (about two 16-oz bottles)
  • 16 Tbsp. Clark's Ole #8 Rib* Rub, (about two 4-oz jars)
  • 3 c. Water, (about)

Directions

  1. Note: A 16-oz bottle of sauce is $2.99, and a 4-oz jar of rub credit cards are accepted.
  2. Preheat oven to 300F. Rinse ribs under cool water. Pat dry. Arrange ribs bone side up on 2 heavy large baking sheets with rims. Brush 1/4 c. sauce on each 6-rib piece. Sprinkle each with 1 tsp. rub.
  3. Turn ribs over. Brush each piece with 1/4 c. sauce. Sprinkle each piece with 1 tsp. rub.
  4. Bake ribs meat side up 1 1/2 hrs. Add in 1/2 c. water to each pan.
  5. Continue baking till ribs are deep brown, every 30 min adding 1/2 c. water and basting, about 1 1/2 hrs more.
  6. Prepare barbecue (medium-high heat) or possibly preheat broiler. Grill ribs till lightly charred, about 2 min per side.
  7. Serves 4.
