Cinnamon Roasted Almonds . . . with just a few simple ingredients, you can make this irresistible tasty snack at home! Almonds are a perfect after school snack, and they are even tastier when they are toasted with cinnamon and sugar! My kids also love Caramel Apple Dip, and Pimento Cheese Ball. We have a new favorite snack at our house. You know those wonderful cinnamon roasted almonds they sell at basketball games, fairs, and at the mall during holiday season? They smell amazing and are so addicting, but are quite pricey. I have found a way to make them at home! I found a few recipes online and came up with my own combination of ingredients. The results were fabulous! In fact, the first few photos I took all had hands in them because my family couldn’t stay away from them long enough for me to take a picture. If you love almonds, you have got to try these! I love keeping these tasty cinnamon almonds on hand for afternoon pick-me-ups. They are a healthy snack that my entire family can agree on. Be careful though, they are seriously addicting! How to Make Cinnamon Roasted Almonds Ingredients needed: egg white water vanilla extract raw almonds brown sugar granulated sugar (white sugar) salt ground cinnamon Beat egg white, water, and vanilla in a large mixing bowl till frothy. Stir in almonds. Mix sugars, salt, and cinnamon and sprinkle over. Toss to coat. Bake on a parchment lined baking sheet at 250° for 60-90 minutes, stirring occasionally. You want the almonds to be toasted, but don’t let them burn! VARIATIONS: -Feel free to change up the spices. You can add some ginger, ground cloves, or nutmeg. Just stir it into the cinnamon sugar mixture and proceed with the recipe as written. -Like things spicy? Try adding about 1/4 tsp of cayenne pepper to the cinnamon sugar. You can add more or less according to how hot you want your almonds. How to Store Roasted Almonds These almonds will keep up to two weeks at room temperature if stored in an airtight container. But they have never lasted even close to that long at my house, we eat them too quickly! Cinnamon Almonds Make Great Gifts! I love giving these amazing almonds as holiday gifts. Just scoop some cooled almonds into a plastic bag, tie up with a ribbon, and you have a perfect Christmas gift for neighbors, friends, and coworkers. I like adding a cute tag to my gift bags.
