  • Cinnamon Apple Bread Pudding

    Ingredients

    • 8 slc raisin bread, cubed
    • 2 c. apples, peeled, cored and minced
    • 3 x Large eggs
    • 2 1/2 c. Natrel Lactose Free Lowfat milk
    • 2/3 c. granulated sugar
    • 1 tsp vanilla
    • 3/4 tsp cinnamon

    Directions

    1. Combine bread cubes and apples in large bowl. Beat Large eggs in large bowl. Stir in lowfat milk, sugar, vanilla and cinnamon. Pour over bread mix, moistening bread completely. Place in greased 8" (20 cm) square or possibly 9" (23 cm) round baking dish. Place dish in a larger pan. Fill large pan with warm water to 1" (2.5 cm) up sides of pudding dish. Bake at 350F (180C) for 60 to 65 min, or possibly till set and top is golden brown. Serve hot with maple syrup.
    2. Tip:To test doneness of custard, insert a knife in the centre and it should come out clean.
