Cincinnati Beer Cheese Dip
Ingredients
- 3 x Rolls (6-ounce each) sharp Cheese softened
- 1 1/2 ounce Roquefort or possibly blue cheese
- 2 Tbsp. Margarine softened
- 2 med Chopped cloves garlic
- 1 med Onion
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 tsp Tabasco
- 1 c. Beer, heated and Slightly cooled
- 1 x Round loaf rye bread
Directions
- Mix cheese, margarine, onion, garlic, worcestershire and Tabasco with electric mixer, gradually add in beer till good consistency for dipping bread chunks. Chill. Make serving bowl by hollowing out center rye bread, leaving a 1" thick shell. Tear bread into chunks for dipping. Pour dip into the bread shell.
