Chutney Cracker Spread
Ingredients
- 8 ounce Fat-free cream cheese, softened
- 2 Tbsp. Nonfat lowfat sour cream
- 1 tsp Curry pwdr
- 1/2 c. Green onions, sliced
- 1/2 c. Unsalted peanuts, dry-roasted, minced
- 9 ounce Chutney Assorted reduced-fat crackers
Directions
- Enjoy these.
- In a small mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese, lowfat sour cream and curry pwdr till smooth. Mix in the onions and peanuts. Spread about 1/2 inch thick on a serving plate. Chill. Just before serving, pour chutney over all.
- Serve with crackers.
- Yield: 1 1/2 c.
- Serving Size: 2 Tbsp.
- NOTES : Store-bought chutney makes this savory spread a delicious alternative to the usual cheese spread. Plus, it can be whipped up in no time.
