  • Chrissie's Potluck and Party Salad

    Ingredients

    • 1 head Chopped Iceberg Lettuce
    • 2-3 bags Prepared Salad Greens
    • 2 Medium Chopped Cucumbers
    • 2 Medium Chopped Tomatoes
    • 1 bag Prepared Baby Carrots
    • 1 Chopped Red Pepper
    • 1 Chopped Orange Pepper
    • 1 jar Kalamata Olives (do not rinse)
    • 1 jar Choppend or Whole Mild Banana Peppers
    • 12 oz jar Marinated Mild Cherry Oil and Vinegar, or any light

    Directions

    1. In a bowl, combine the iceberg lettuce and prepared salad greens and set aside.
    2. In a separate bowl, combine the cucumbers, tomatoes and peppers and set aside. In a large salad bowl, begin layering the salad.
    3. First add a layer or lettuse and greens, then the chopped vegetables, baby carrots, banana peppers, olives, and 3 or 4 cherry peppers.
    4. Then add another layer of salad, and so on.
    5. Fill to the rim or the bowl, with a minal top layer of chopped vegetables, carrotes, peppers and olives.
    6. Cover and chill for 1 hour.
    7. Serve with light balsamic vinegrette dressing on the side.
