Cholent And Knaidel (Bean And Barley Casserole With Dumplings)
Ingredients
- 1 lrg Onion finely choped Veg oil for frying
- 1 1/2 x Lima beans boiled
- 1 c. Barley rinsed and boiled
- 1 x Carrot grated/shredded
- 2 x Tomatoes chipped
- 2 Tbsp. Fresh parsley chipped
- 1 Tbsp. Soy sauce
- 1 Tbsp. Tomato paste
- 2 Tbsp. Whole wheat flour
- 1 tsp Paprika
- 1 tsp Each sea salt, freshly grnd black pepper,garlic salt
- 2 lrg Potatoes peeled and thickly sliced Warm vegetable stock to cover
Directions
- I usually put all this in the crock pot and let it all cook and low overnight or possibly till done.
