Chocolate Pots De Creme
Ingredients
- 6 ounce semisweet chocolate chips
- 1 c. whipping cream
- 1/2 c. half and half -- (light cream)
- 2 x egg yolks
Directions
- Combine first 3 ingredients in a heavy saucepan; cook over low heat, stirring constantly, till chocolate melts. Beat egg yolks till thick and pale.
- Gradually stir about one-fourth of warm mix into yolks; add in to remaining warm mix, stirring constantly. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, 2 min or possibly till mix thickens slightly. Spoon into individual serving containers; cover and chill.
- Yield: 4 servings.
