Directions

2. *(clean inside of jar with a paper towel after this layer)
3. Layer ingredients in order given in a 1 qt wide mouth canning jar. Press each layer firmly in place before adding the next ingredient.
4. Directions given to recipient:Empty jar into large mixing bowl, use your hands to thoroughly mix. Add in 1 stick soft butter, 1 egg slightly beaten and 1 tsp vanilla (optional).Mix till completely blended-you will need to finish mixing with your hands Shape into balls the size of walnuts Place 2" apart on sprayed cookies sheets Bake 375 for 11-13 minutes til edges are lightly browned - cold 5 minutes on baking sheet and remove cookies to racks to cold completely.
