  • Chocolate Mocha Pie

    Ingredients

    • 1 x 8 inch chocolate crumb crust
    • 1 x (4 oz) package chocolate pudding and pie filling mix, cooked type
    • 2 1/2 c. lowfat milk
    • 2 tsp instant coffee pwdr
    • 2 Tbsp. white sugar
    • 1 x (2 oz) envelope dessert topping mix
    • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract chocolate sprinkles, optional

    Directions

    1. Method:1. Prepare pie filling using the directions on the package, using 2 c. lowfat milk.
    2. 2. In a small bowl, combine 1 c. warm filling, instant coffee, and sugar. Stir to dissolve and blend. Chill.
    3. 3. Cold remaining filling 5 min, stirring several times. Pour into crust, and chill.
    4. 4. Prepare whipped topping mix as directed on package, using remaining 1/2 c. lowfat milk and vanilla. Beat chilled c. of pudding till smooth, and then fold into whipped topping. Pile lightly over filling in crust, spreading proportionately. Refrigerateseveral hrs before serving. Top with chocolate sprinkles if you like.
    5. Makes 1 - 8 inch pie
