  • Chocolate Low Fat Muffins

    Ingredients

    • 1 1/2 c. All-purpose flour
    • 3/4 c. Granulated sugar
    • 1/4 c. HERSHEY'S cocoa or possibly HERSHEY'S European Style cocoa
    • 2 tsp Baking pwdr
    • 1 tsp Baking soda
    • 1/2 tsp Salt
    • 2/3 c. Vanilla lowfat yogurt
    • 2/3 c. Skim lowfat milk
    • 1/2 tsp Vanilla extract Powdered sugar (opt)

    Directions

    1. Heat oven to 400 degrees F. Line muffin c. (2 1/2" in diameter) with paper bake c.. In medium bowl, stir together flour, granulated sugar, cocoa, baking pwdr, baking soda and salt; stir in yogurt, lowfat milk and vanilla just till combined. Don't beat.
    2. Fill muffin c. 2/3 full with batter. Bake 15-20 min or possibly till wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean. Cold slightly in pan on wire rack. Remove from pans. Sprinkle powdered sugar over tops of muffins, if you like. Serve hot. Store, covered, at room temperature or possibly freeze in airtight container for longer storage.
