Chocolate - Lime Cake With Mint Glaze
Ingredients
- 1 pkg. devils food cake mix
- 1/2 gal. lime sherbet
- 1 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 T butter
- 1 1/2 teaspoon lowfat milk
- 1 1/2 teaspoon light corn syrup
- Mint flavoring to taste
Directions
- Prepare cake mix. Bake in two 8 inch round pans. When cool, cut each layer horizontally in half. Layer cake and lime sherbet ice cream ending with cake. Freeze till hard.
- Heat chocolate chips, butter, lowfat milk and corn syrup. Add in mint flavoring. Spread on cake. Freeze till hard. Wrap securely. Let sit at room temperature a couple min before, trying to cut.
