Chocolate Fudge Or Fudge Frosting
Ingredients
- 6 Tbsp. cocoa
- 2 c. sugar
- 2/3 c. lowfat milk
- 1/2 c. butter
- 1 pch salt
- 1 tsp vanilla
Directions
- Bring the first 5 ingredients to a boil, stirring constantly. Reduce heat to low and boil gently for 3 min, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat, allow frosting mix to cold for 2-3 min, then add in vanilla. Beat with mixer till frosting is just barely thicker than a glaze, and quickly spread over top and sides of cake. Any remaining frosting may be poured onto a buttered plate or possibly small baking dish, where it will quickly thicken to fudge.
